Minor League Eligibility
Option A - You can have 5 major league players on your minor league roster. That means that you can have 5 players without a minor league flag by their name on your minor league roster. If you have more than that, you will have to drop or trade a player to make room.
Option B - I can use the minor league roster tool on fantrax. That means that I can set it to where fantrax establishes who are minor league players. For example, I can have it to where if your pitcher has thrown less than 50 innings he is considered a minor leaguer or if your hitter has less than 130 at bats he is considered a minor leaguer. Also if a player gets demoted to the minors, he can be considered a minor league player
Option C - We can increase the number of roster spots from 25 to 30 and DL spots from 5 to 7, but not allow anyone who doesn't have a flag by their name allowed in the minors. That means that if a player gets called up, you will have to call him up as well. This way could ruin flexibility.
Option D - Use baseballreference.com and be allowed to keep anyone in the minors that has less than a year of MLB experience. If you haven't promoted the minor league player, you don't have to call him up right away. You can still keep 5 major league players in the minors as well. This will require people keeping track of each other within their division.

I voted D, but if you have a minor leaguer and you have not promoted him yet so his contract hasnt started, he can stay in your Minors with no penalty, but as soon as you start his contract the 1 year rule starts.

What if a player has gone over the INN/AB limit and is in the minors section, another team can put a claim in for that player. The original team would have 24 hours to remove him from his minors or lose the player. Just a thought

if he has gone over the innings/ab he must be moved up to the majors or dropped unless he is still in the minors.
